Because I was hit with a new, very, very, very unexpected plot bunny in the last couple of weeks. Inspired by music (of course) and as is my wont, a full soundtrack proceeded to develop. As always, it's an evolving thing, but it's easily one of the most interesting soundtracks I've brewed up.

Just for fun, let's see if you can guess what sort of story might go along with this. *cue evil grin*

Marco Polo:
Main Theme
Dinner
Nocturne
- Yo-Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone

II. Largo from Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95 "From the New World-Leny van Schaik & Women's Choir of Haarlem (Paradise Road Soundtrack)

Nimrod: Lux Aeterna- Amici Forever

Suo Gan
No Road Home/Seeing the Bomb
Exsultate Justi
- John Williams (Empire of the Sun Soundtrack)

Exaelitus- Yoko Kanno

Prayer- Hayley Westenra

Prayer of St. Francis- Sarah McLachlin

Ave Maria (Caccini composition)- Hayley Westenra

Stabat Mater: 10. Amen- Rossini

Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring- Leny van Schaik & Women's Choir of Haarlem (Paradise Road Soundtrack)

Never Say Goodbye (Adapted from "Pavane")- Hayley Westenra

So there you go. Give it a go, if you care to guess what sort of story might inspire such a whacked-out soundtrack.
